Free DSPM For All

August 15, 2022

Normalyze data security platform is now available for everyone for free! Anyone can now sign up for Normalyze through a self-serve workflow and take advantage of our best-in-class DSPM solution without even sharing credit card information or worrying about a PO.

While the product is available for free, the capabilities available for users of this free tier are cutting edge and enterprise grade:

Detect attack paths to critical data

With a proprietary, patented mechanism to detect data risks, Normalyze continuously scans all cloud resources, assesses their risk posture and identifies access paths that are potentially available to an attacker to break into.

Automatic and continuous discovery of cloud data

Normalyze automatically scans onboarded cloud accounts to provide security teams with up to date state of all the cloud data assets and their associated risk posture. Security teams can now discover shadow data stores that they aren’t aware of, identify which data stores are actually in use vs. ones that are abandoned.

One-pass scanner for efficient data classification

Normalyze’s scanners for data classification are built from scratch without reliance on legacy technology. The scanners are also architected to detect all classes (100+) of data with a single pass through data in customer environments. This enables customers to get full visibility and classification of their data much faster and also in an extremely cost effective manner. For e.g. when benchmarked against the native cloud provider’s classification engine, Normalyze is 20x cheaper!

Data access and privilege monitoring

Normalyze continuously monitors and analyzes all users, their roles, the access policies and policy statements as well as resource level allow/block permissions to give security teams a clear view of the resulting access grants and privileges available for various users across the cloud data assets. This helps security teams clearly identify which sensitive data stores have users with excessive privileges as well as users that have access but are dormant. Security teams can use this insight to tweak the access policies to enforce least privilege across all critical data assets

Automation to trigger remediation workflows

Create rules based on a variety of criteria – resource tags, risk impact score, type of risk, resource name, etc. – to trigger notifications via email/Slack or create tickets for the DevOps/Engineering teams via ticketing systems like JIRA. All the information related to a detected risk – including description, resource metadata, instructions to remediate – are included in the notification/ticket so the downstream teams have all the information needed to take an action without having to engage in a back and forth with security teams.

Sign up today for a free trial and take Normalyze for a test drive. Setup takes just 10 minutes.

Data is the most valuable asset for a modern enterprise, and its proliferation everywhere makes DSPM an essential tool for visibility into where sensitive data is, who has access to it, and how it is being used.
